
About
Dr. Soumabha Bag was born in West Bengal, India. After concluding his undergraduate study in Chemistry (Honours) from the R. K. Mission Residential College, Narendrapur (affiliated to University of Calcutta), he earned his M. Sc. (2008) and Ph. D. (2014) from the Department of Chemistry, IIT Madras, India under guidance of Prof. T. Pradeep.
He spent few years overseas for his postdoctoral research in the Department of Chemistry, Purdue University, USA; Institute of Nanotechnology, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany and Institute of Materials, Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, respectively, before joining to the Mizoram University in July 2021.
